Resource Capital Strategies (RCS), a division of Bottom Line Capital, provides capital and debt solutions for mining companies facilitated through its extensive database of investment partners.

RCS recognise that mining is an inherently cyclical industry that creates opportunities for our investors to strategically position their capital to earn through-cycle returns.

We focus on the resources the world needs. Global demand for mining products continues to increase and diversify driven by a growing global population, continued urbanisation and material science innovation.

RCS INVESTMENT STRATEGIES

Our strategy is to deliver long-term value and returns, to our investors, through the cycle. To extract the most value and the highest returns from mining assets we look at values and culture, safety and productively, and deployment of technology.

RCS evaluate and make investments across a wide range of mining opportunities, that are in advanced stages of project development and operations.

We invest in growth-oriented mining companies where our investors capital enhances existing expertise, and capabilities that creates further value. We invest in companies or projects that are fully permitted that require growth and operating capital.

Our investment team undertakes proper due diligence process working in close collaboration with mining consultants and existing mining executives. As part of its investment analysis and risk management strategy, RCS integrates ESG matters into its due diligence process and ownership activities, which it believes contributes to the improvement of long-term returns and more sustainable businesses.

RCS uses a range of investment instruments to create flexible funding packages to accelerate project production. We structure funding solutions including debt and equity and raise the capital offshore from a range of investors looking to earn through-cycle returns.

Gavin Brown heads up the Investment Team and works closely with senior management, following RCS investment in mining companies, to ensure agreed strategies are put in place and being followed.

INVESTMENT STRUCTURE

RCS, through special purpose companies, invests both equity capital and senior debt sourced through established strong working relationships with investors over the years. Investors comprise of offshore pension funds, institutions, high net-worth individuals, family office, fund-of-fund, and sovereign wealth funds.
